Steve Von Taylorhof

Steve Von Taylorhof is a working line German Shepherd bred and raised within our program, developed from strong Czech working-line bloodlines. His genetics emphasize nerve strength, environmental stability, functional structure, and long-term durability.

His development emphasizes clarity, temperament, and real-world functionality, producing a dog that is capable, reliable, and adaptable in everyday settings.

Steve displays a medium drive with an open, social temperament. He is people-oriented, confident, and comfortable engaging in new environments without reactivity or stress. He demonstrates excellent environmental stability, steady nerves, and quick recovery.

Steve is currently in professional development with a strong emphasis on off-leash obedience foundations. His training includes long-distance recall, sustained focused downs, and clear engagement under distraction, alongside bark on command, man trailing, and public access work. These foundations support reliability in daily life and continued advancement in training.

Steve is well suited for a family environment, combining an open, social temperament with a natural protection deterrent. He provides awareness and presence while remaining approachable, stable, and easy to live with. He is intended for a home seeking a confident companion with protective awareness rather than a high-drive personal protection role.

Health, structure, and longevity are central to Steve’s development. He comes from lines with documented health histories and is being developed at an appropriate pace to support long-term soundness.

Steve is available for reservation while in development. He will remain in professional training until placement and will not be released prior to meeting all readiness milestones. Placement is projected for July 2026, pending continued development and suitability for a family-oriented protection deterrent role.
