Our programs are built for working dogs, high-drive breeds, family companions, and dogs requiring behavioral modification, including reactivity and instability.
Dogs train full-time within our private ranch environment, following a deliberate daily structure that balances training, recovery, and observation. This approach allows us to accelerate progress while maintaining clarity, stability, and welfare throughout the program.

Jump School – Foundational Board & Train
Structure, Engagement & Obedience Clarity
Jump School establishes clarity, structure, and engagement for dogs that need a solid training foundation or a reset in expectations. This program focuses on core obedience, leash communication, impulse control, and environmental neutrality while building confidence and responsiveness.
Jump School is appropriate for younger dogs, adult dogs with limited prior training, or dogs transitioning out of inconsistent or unclear training environments.

Advanced Individual Dog Training Camp (AIDT-C)
Off-Leash Reliability & Real-World Obedience
AIDT-C builds on foundational obedience and transitions dogs into reliable off-leash control, public access training, and real-world responsiveness. Dogs are trained across varied environments, distractions, and scenarios to ensure behaviors remain reliable outside controlled settings.
For clients located in San Diego County, Riverside County, or San Bernardino County, the program concludes with an in-environment transition session, allowing training to be handed off directly within the home or daily routine.

Delta Program – Service-Level Board & Train
Advanced Control, Stability & Precision
Delta is our most advanced Board & Train program and is designed for dogs requiring the highest level of reliability, neutrality, and handler control. Training emphasizes duration, distance, distraction, and composure across complex environments such as restaurants, retail settings, travel, and high-stimulus public spaces.
This program is commonly selected for dogs requiring service-level behavior, advanced public access, or maximum off-leash trust in real-world conditions.

Behavioral Modification Within Board & Train
Behavioral modification is integrated into Board & Train when required. This includes structured work with reactive dogs, aggression, anxiety, leash frustration, resource guarding, and environmental sensitivity through controlled exposure, clarity, and accountability.
Behavioral cases are evaluated individually to determine appropriate program placement and expectations.
The Taylor Made Working Dog Collective
Taylor Made Working Dogs operates within a private, purpose-built training collective designed for structure, consistency, and real-world reliability.
Dogs are not crated between training sessions and are housed in their own individual kennel spaces, where they receive daily care, observation, enrichment, and recovery in addition to structured training. There is no daycare model, no uncontrolled group play, and no outsourced handling.
Puppy Foundations
Puppy Foundations focuses on early structure, engagement, confidence building, and environmental exposure during critical developmental windows. Training emphasizes neutrality, handler focus, and foundational obedience to prevent future behavioral issues.

Our 5-week Puppy Boot Camp is a structured, immersive Board & Train program designed to give your puppy the confidence, manners, and obedience they need to thrive at home and in public.
At the TMWD Ranch, your puppy lives in a structured environment and trains daily using proven methods that set them up for long-term success.

Breeds & Training Scope
Taylor Made Working Dogs trains all breeds. We regularly work with German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Dutch Shepherds, and other working and high-drive breeds, as well as family companions and mixed breeds.
Each dog is evaluated as an individual — not by breed label alone.
